After a suicide note was discovered in the chapel, the situation was escalated to Walsh.
When he arrived, he encountered a man in the pit parking lot who appeared to be in significant distress. Through calm conversation and compassionate engagement, Walsh was able to determine that this was the individual who had left the note. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Walsh remained with him and personally escorted him to the emergency department so he could receive the care and support he needed.
