Vandalia Health Equipment Standards Catalog
In August, Vandalia Health will implement a new online platform for equipment requests.
This new workspace will serve as the designated location for approved equipment information, quote requests and related communication. The goal is to improve alignment between clinical needs, supply chain standards and purchasing workflows while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Suppliers included in Vandalia Health’s Standards Catalog will participate in a more centralized quoting process through the platform.
How the Process Works
- Vandalia Health users will initiate equipment requests within the platform.
- Approved suppliers will be notified when a request is ready for their review.
- Suppliers will provide pricing and supporting information directly through the system.
- Vandalia Health Supply Chain will review submissions and support the evaluation and procurement process
- When applicable, finalized information will continue through Vandalia Health’s existing purchasing and approval workflows.
This new approach is designed to support better visibility into equipment requests and quoting activity, more consistent documentation and communication, reduced manual follow-up and emails and a stronger alignment with Vandalia Health’s equipment standards and procurement process.
