Heroes of Healthcare: Skylar Blair

Skylar Blair is a Health Unit Coordinator in Surgical Vascular Intermediate Care at Vandalia Health CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Blair often is recognized by her patients for going above and beyond to care for them and their family members. She is kind and compassionate to everyone daily while always having a smile on her face. You can often find her in a patient's room joking and laughing.

She is also known to go around the unit and give everyone a shampoo and fix our patients hair. She purchases her own shampoos and conditioners to detangle their hair and give them a little extra TLC.

Additionally, Blair took the initiative to improve the combs and soft bristle brushes kept for patient use to ensure staff could detangle patients' hair before it becomes an issue and possibly having to be cut.
