Heroes of Healthcare: Roseanna Brown

Roseanna Brown, RN, BSN, is a patient navigator at the Vandalia Health CAMC Cancer Center in Beckley.

Brown exemplifies the very best of healthcare through her compassion, dedication and unwavering commitment to her patients.

She consistently takes extra time to address patient concerns, ensuring that each individual feels heard, valued and supported. She empowers patients to better understand and manage their health, and she approaches every question with patience and kindness. No concern is ever too small, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure her patients receive the attention and care they deserve.

Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Brown serves as the leader of the patient support group, where her impact extends far beyond traditional patient care. She generously volunteers her own time and, at times, even contributes her personal funds to help organize meaningful events for patients.

Her warmth and genuine concern for others helps create an environment where patients feel supported not only medically, but emotionally as well. She continuously reminds patients that they are more than their diagnosis and that they matter as individuals.
