Heroes of Healthcare: Megan Geyer

Megan Geyer, APRN-CNP works at Vandalia Health Primary Care – Ravenswood.

She gives her all to her patients every single day. Being a diabetes management provider in a rural community, she makes sure to look at every aspect of the patient's health, their home life, their availability for medication, transportation and appointments.

After work hours, Geyer has gone through the pharmacy drive-thru to pay for a patient's prescription because the patient was unable to pay the $6 fee. She will personally call a pharmacy and figure out why a medication can’t be filled and then fix the issue.

She takes her time and thoroughly pays special attention to each patient during their appointments.

She genuinely cares deeply for all her patients.
