I would like to nominate Christine Dean, RN, for her outstanding compassion and exceptional patient care.
During a recent swing bed exit interview, a patient specifically recognized Dean for making her feel "pampered and special."
The patient shared that she was 74 years old and had never been pampered like she was when Dean gave her a bath. She washed the patient’s back, applied lotion and made her feel special.
This heartfelt feedback reflects Dean's commitment to treating patients with dignity, kindness and compassion. She consistently goes beyond meeting patients' physical needs by providing comfort, respect and genuine human connection during vulnerable moments.
This is not an isolated experience. Dean is frequently recognized by name during swing bed exit interviews for the excellent care she provides. Her consistent ability to create meaningful, positive experiences for patients exemplifies the highest standards of nursing and reflects the values of our organization.
