Heroes of Health Care: CK Babcock
Charles “CK” Babcock, RPh, works in the Vandalia Health Pharmacy.
Babcock excels in his support of patients and the internal medicine clinic daily. He provides education to the patients and staff on medications that can be confusing.
Babcock is always available to answer clinical questions, help select appropriate medications and guide treatment decisions - especially for our diabetic patients that have difficulty understanding and managing their diabetes.
His knowledge and follow-up care make a huge difference in outcomes. Babcock takes extra time to call patients, check on progress, explain medications and help them understand treatment plans.
On top of this, he handles prior authorizations efficiently and proactively; by helping to decrease barriers so patients can get the medications they need.
