Heroes of Health Care: Charlene Cooper and Bill Cooper
Charlene Cooper works in the CAMC Memorial Hospital Surgical Vascular ICU and Bill Cooper works in transport at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
During the most recent winter storm, the Coopers came in on their day off to assist with transporting patients throughout the hospital.
This significantly reduced the workload on our nursing staff, allowing them to focus on direct patient care. This action demonstrated exceptional teamwork, professionalism and a strong commitment to patient safety and hospital operations.
That’s just one example of how the Coopers go above and beyond at work and in their community.
They embody the values of teamwork, reliability and patient-centered service. They repeatedly step up to support their coworkers and ensure hospital operations run smoothly making them invaluable members of the hospital.
